NYC 2017

Welcome to New York City!
We first spotted a fountain, unicorn cotton candy, Trevor Noah (!). And then we experienced the first of our long walks. (Everybody complained..) Oh, and then we saw a purple monster...

We discovered a place called MOMA. Mom told us not to talk to her while we were inside looking at art... We quickly found out she was supper serious about that...

Alara found her favorite... Alya said "I don't get it".

Mom took selfies with naked paintings, Alara was practicing her tortured artist pose. 

There might have been some artistic differences. 

We got walking again... and this time there also was some ice cream involved.

Bryant Park became one of our favorite stops... Dad even took the kids to the New York Library... 

We kicked and screamed and our parents finally introduced us to cab living in the city. Alya mastered the cab hailing like a boss...

Times Square... It's also super hot....

Bulent walking on Broadway, to the bright lights of Hamilton....

We were proud to drive by the 'failing' New York Times :-) 

Finally night time... and we get what Times Square is all about... more people, same heat. 

Yes Alya was 'dancing in the streets'... Her own homage to Bowie... 

And what better place to do so then on NYC streets, at night...

Mom was not to be spoken to until she had her cafe au lait.

We took a cruise around NYC. Super cool...

And this was Alya's turf: 5th Avenue ... shopping.

Our last night in NYC. Great little restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. 

We are exhausted. And by we I mean Bulent and I. 

The kids are doing fine. They always end up doing fine. 

Now Bulent and I need a vacation :-)
