Spring Break - Vegas 2013

We took a break during spring break and decided on a complete change of scenery. Change we got. Let's face it, there is no place like Vegas :-) ... and yes even with kids. There was a lot of walking around with open mouths... And yes there also was some flies that happen to fly in those mouths :-)

The girls were amazed at the tall buildings, the over the top decors and so many people walking in the streets for no apparent reason. (Got suffocated by the casino's cigarette smell and avoided them completely. Yes, skeptics out there, you can avoid casinos in Vegas.) We also enjoyed the changing architecture of the strip.

This trip got me thinking. We've got to get the girls out more often from their cozy suburbial surroundings. Don't want them growing up too provincial and freak out every time we hit a big city. Vegas was a good wake up call. Next time, maybe another less eccentric destination might be in order though :-)

Lala and MJ.
Yes, we did walk the red carpet.

"We found the Pyramid. It's right here in Vegas."

"Oh no. not another aquarium."

Loved the wall of water at the Wynn.

Thank goodness for all the escalators in the hotels and the city.
We had some very long walks. These really came in handy.
"Money please, I've got to make a wish."
I think the countless fountains are another way to get people
to part with their cash. They are as dangerous as the slot machines :-)
Ice cream break at the Venetian.

"I got wet."

"Replica or not replica?"
M&M World.
The new down town.
Sitting pretty on a tornado.
Flirting with Easter :-)
Chasing Tornadoes.
High and mighty... and very tired on dad's shoulders.
